According to a report released by the official website of the office of Grand Ayatollah Noori Hamedani (may Allah grant him long life), speaking in a video message on the occasion of the martyrdom of Lady Fatima Zahra (SA), His Eminence appealed the revolutionary people of Iran to participate in 22 Bahman (11 February) rally.
Referring to the dedication and commitment of Iranian nation to the revolution, he said, "The Muslim and faithful people of Iran have been responding to the call of the late founder of the Islamic revolution from the beginning as of now. That is because it has been proved to the people that the Islamic revolution is considered to be a faith-based revolution."
His Eminence pointed out that the people of Iran stood up for the revolution, chanted slogans demanding independence, freedom and Islamic republic. "The people gave their lives and blood, and made sacrifices to keep the Islamic revolution firm and steadfast because they consider the revolution to be Islamic and religious," His Eminence said.
His Eminence reiterated that the vigilant and insightful people of Iran would, like the previous years, respond to the call of late Imam Khomeini (ra), the Supreme Leader of the revolution and the martyrs and would steadfastly take part in the processions to chant slogans and express their commitment to the revolution despite going through difficult economic times.
Grand Ayatollah Noori Hamedani added that the people of Iran would take strong steps to participate in 22 Bahman rally. "The Iranian people know their enemy better and are standing up against it with resistance. So, this year the 22 Bahman rally will be held with more participants attending it with greater enthusiasm" His Eminence noted.
"As a humble servant of Imam of Age (AS) I will participate in this rally alongside the people so that the enemy knows that the revolution keeps going on its path as it paves the way for the reappearance of Imam of Age – may Allah hasten his reappearance," His Eminence said.
He further added that the insightful and revolutionary people of Iran in this year also will strike a strong blow to the mouths of the enemies with their widespread attendance in 22nd of Bahman’s rally. The people of Iran will participate and come out into the streets to show their dedication and commitment to the Islamic revolution with more enthusiasm than ever before.
